♛ Stuff That Really Rules: Mirror Mirror On the Wall

Today I would like to introduce you to the most fantastical set of mirrors done by a French artist named Nathalie Lété. When fate brought my eyes and these mirrors together I first thought "all I'd want is the woman with the hat". Then I saw them in pairs (the woman and man then the little boy and girl) and before I knew it, I wanted all four in the series. In my head it was getting dramatic thinking about tearing apart this Parisian family of mirrors. At $85 a pop, who could deny this charming family a place on your wall!

Madame Mirror by Nathalie Lete
Monsieur Mirror by Nathalie Lete
Garçon Mirror by Nathalie Lete
Fillie Mirror by Nathalie Lete
It is no wonder that when I stumbled upon these mirrors that I immediately began drooling over them. While these mirrors aren't available at my favorite store Anthropologie, Nathalie Lété is currently one of their featured artists

You can find these mirrors here and you can visit her website here

Thanks for visiting!

Street Queen♕: Booking It

When I was waiting to cross the crosswalk home, I saw this petite Queen pass me, and I got so excited because some of the best parts of outfits are not necessarily jewelry or clothing. This Queen was reading on the go. (You'll notice she has her fingers holding her place in her book).

I was so honored that she stopped her adventure to let me take some photos of her! I feel that the most unique piece in her outfit is her brown pants. I thought they were vintage but silly me...they are Urban Outfitters pants! I've always been into vintage and I keep forgetting vintage is the new new.

Her outfit inspired me to simultaneously drink coconut milk, read The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, and listen to Joy Division.

I think this might be because great fashion IS a lifestyle and this Queen reigned the streets.

Down The Rabbit Hole

What I like most about Old Sacramento is that each and every store is jammed packed with STUFF. You want sweets? They have entire stores full of candy barrels after candy barrels. Or for some reason you love Mardi Gras 365 days a year there IS a store dedicated to obsessions like that.  However neither of these things are what tickled me pink on my trip to Sacramento; rather, I was infatuated Brooks Novelty Antiques and Records
Just as the sign above says, you have to go downstairs (and let me tell you, I didn't carefully go down the stairs, I gleefully ran).

The blinking light for the "open" sign seemed to be winking at me. ...it was very convincing.
Picture ^ of my dad conversing (which any conversation in this store is automatically more cool than another other conversation).

I am 100% positive I am going back.  Not only do they have amazing rare records I want to gawk at again, but they have wonderfully colorful PINBALL machines.

Although it was such a narrow store, they maximized their space by  placing objects on objects and product all over the walls and ceilings. This dousing of vintage products made me wonderfully nostalgic and no photos do it justice. Can't wait until my next visit.

See you there?
